Preschool Places in Vegas

We continue to get requests for preschool places, programs and schools around the valley so we’re updating this weekly. The following preschool places are recommended from homeschool parents who post on our Facebook page or in the private group.

Let us know if we are missing any or if you’d like your business to be included! Since the recent closures, we are calling and verifying that preschool places are open and taking new students.

We’ve also included the #VKZFave play places for the preschool set where moms and dads can get a break, too!

A good place to start teaching is at home with games. Gameschooling has taken off as a valid teaching tool for homeschoolers. Games teach math, reading, collaboration, colors and more. Choosing games based on their learning style, just like the curriculum later on, can make the play fun and educational. I post deals on PreK toys and games from Amazon each Wednesday.

In Nevada, parents don’t need to notice the school district of their intent to homeschool until a child is aged 7. If you have had your child in the public school system before age 7 and then decide to homeschool, you will need to file a Notice of Intent. We have the links and PDFs to download, print, sign and send here.
