There are many inspiring stories in our city of moms making a difference and creating thriving businesses. We had the chance to get some inspiration from local mompreneur, Elena Ledoux, Chief Mommy of Mommy GO and CEO of Superb Maids.

(A good gift for Mother’s Day would be a Cleaning Coupon or gift card with Superb Maids!)

When did you start the business?

I started my maid service in 2015 and the Natural Energy company in 2017. Superb Maids was voted as the best house cleaning company in Las Vegas by the Review Journal, Super Service award by Angie’s List, and has 275+ five-star ratings on Google, Facebook and Thumbtack.

We shouldn’t have to choose between having a thriving career or a happy family.

What was the inspiration behind the business?

My belief is that women should have it all. We shouldn’t have to choose between having a thriving career or a happy family. If you can outsource domestic chores to a maid company, or get enough of an energy boost (in a healthy way), both of those things can free you up to spend more time on personal happiness.

What tips do you have to offer someone who wants to start a business?

Stay focused on what it means to be in business. You need paying clients. Before you spend too much time agonizing over logos or website, figure out where to get those clients or, better yet, go out and find them.

What inspires you when you may feel overwhelmed or hit a rough patch?

My 7-year-old. He hugs me tightly and provides unlimited cuddles until I feel better.

Mommy Go is all natural.

What inspired Natural Energy business and Matcha Go?

Matcha GO is something we created after we came up with Mommy GO – natural energy shots for moms. Then all the dads asked: “Where’s Daddy GO?!” Matcha GO is also keto-friendly and doesn’t contain honey as Mommy GO does.
