The library may seem dull as a resource, but it is packed with free online resources. Whether you homeschool or need help on math skills, local libraries offer a wide variety of free educational programs. You can use them for your homeschool or to supplement your education, hone hobbies and interests. Interested in history? Learn more about the ancient world and important historical events.
The library district is continually adding more to its online resources. We also have a growing list of free or low-cost online curriculum for teaching kids home from school closures due to the coronoavirus. When the social distancing is over, check out the well-stocked Homeschool Room at its Centennial Hills Library. With all the library offers, you can get a free online education at any age and for any interests.
Benefits of Using the Library Online
Educational endeavors can be expensive. Libraries offer free programs that can save you time and money tracking down established and proven programs. The Great Courses delves into history, geography, languages and more and can cost around $90 a year. Sign in to learn languages for free with the highly acclaimed, and otherwise relatively expensive, Rosetta Stone.
