Currently, all of the riding lessons are private so our students can have one-on-one attention. Normally, a 45-minute lesson with a lesson horse is $75. For homeschool riders, they are offering these lessons for $50. If the rider is capable of saddling the horse themselves, they will have the full 45 minutes in the saddle. If they still need to learn how to put the saddle and other equipment on, there will be 15 minutes dedicated to that and 30 minutes of riding. Also offering educational sessions that don’t involve riding in order for the kids to meet the requirements for all of the levels in our curriculum. Those sessions will be 1 hour in a group setting and will be $20 per participant. Lessons must be prepaid monthly. Makeups are available if you have to reschedule for some reason. There are no refunds.

Here is a link to the curriculum they use:

Sport Social Homeschool Class
1:30 – 3p.m.

Sport Social provides a high-energy, friendly environment filled with positive learning experiences, open communication, and of course, FUN!
It’s $125 for the month. We weren’t sure until we went and my son, an introvert, can’t wait to go and chats up everybody, tries new things. It’s capped at 6 kids and we have 2 so far. The class is 6 kids to one counselor. They play video games, Nerf, there’s wall climbing, skateboarding, basketball. PM me if you have any questions.
For your first time, you will need to do a tour for parents to get a sense of what it is all about and kids can play, see if it’s a good fit. They are offering the tour for 50% off, so $25.

Homeschool Senior Graduation Party

Graduation may be far off, but working together now can build relationships and make for an even more special event. The City-Wide Graduation event is going to be great! As part of the planning process, the grad parents and seniors will meet briefly each month starting NOW. The group will use this time to make connections and plan a ceremony. Tasks and responsibilities will be divided and assigned to individuals and committees who will be taking on monthly tasks like programs and decorations. All homeschoolers from Southern Nevada are welcome regardless of group affiliation, race, religion and creed, sexual orientation to participate.
