Firework Shows in Las Vegas
Spread the love

Poolside parties, hot dog soirees, sparkling beverage specials and park parades will be happening this year! There are many places to get a good view of the fireworks on the Strip from around the valley. There are also fireworks at the Las Vegas Aviators ball game, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and in Henderson, Boulder City and Laughlin. (I’ll also be updating the pools sitch for locals at Strip hotels. Some still let locals in free.)

Looking for activities to do with kids for 4th of July? Make marshmallow shooters, salt fireworks, DIY confetti poppers and other fun stuff to get in the spirit of the holiday. Or delve into some history. Knowledge Box Central is having 65% off sitewide! Get the America Through the Centuries study unit for 65% off $5, Bill of Rights, Benjamin Franklin, or less than $1! We recently got the financial responsibility bundle and love it.

Here’s a list of places to go to see splashy shows of blooming fireworks in and around the city.

Tailgate tips for friends and family.

Tips to Tailgate

If you plan to head out to a parking lot or set up in a vacant lot to catch the fireworks shows from local casinos, then you will want to follow a few rules. Be aware that other families may be practicing social distancing and keep a neighborly and respectful space away.

The earlier you set up, the better chances of securing a spot where you can spread out. Make sure to drink lots of water during the day and into the evening to stay hydrated. Tune into a local station during the fireworks shows to further the patriotic feeling. Local stations include: The Bull 95.5, The Mountain 93.1, Real 103.9, Sunny 106.5.
